Russia attacks the “decision-making center” in Ukraine – MOD

The attack was a success, and the “decision-making center” was hit, Russia’s Defense Ministry says.

According to Russia’s Defense Ministry, a Russian missile attack on Friday targeted a Ukrainian military command center.

Russian troops “carried out a group strike with sea and air-based long-range precision weapons against one of the decision-making centers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces,” the ministry said in a statement on Saturday.

“The strike’s goal was accomplished. It continued, without offering any other information, “The targeted facility was struck.

The Russian Defense Ministry also released a brief video of a missile being fired by a vessel as part of what it said was the attack on a Ukrainian “decision-making center.”

The Russian military has previously reported strikes on “decision-making centers” in Ukraine in late May.

This was soon after a significant drone assault on Moscow, which resulted in the destruction of many residential structures and the slight injury of two persons.

At the time, the Ukrainian installations “where terrorist attacks on Russian soil were being planned under the supervision of experts from Western intelligence agencies” were struck, according to the Defense Ministry.

Vladimir Putin, the president of Russia, later reaffirmed that the Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR) headquarters of the Ukrainian military was the target of the attack.

“We have been discussing the potential for attacking the ‘decision-making centers. Of course, the military intelligence center of Ukraine fits into this category and was attacked two or three days ago,” he stated. /RT
