Shooting at the university in Prague, the services reported the number of victims

Czech police reported a shooting that took place on the premises of Charles University in the center of Prague. According to the rescue services, at least 11 people were killed, including the perpetrator, and over 20 were injured. Prague police said the attacker “was eliminated.”

Earlier, the Czech police reported that a shooting took place at Jan Palach Square. “Based on preliminary information, we can confirm that there are fatalities and injuries at the site,” she said on the X platform (formerly Twitter).

Shooting perpetrator ‘eliminated’

In a slightly later entry, the police reported that “the attacker had been eliminated.” “The entire building is being evacuated,” it was reported.
