Gaza’s health ministry said Tuesday that Israel’s military bombed a hospital in Gaza City that was filled with wounded and other Palestinians seeking refuge, killing hundreds of them, the Associated Press reported
If confirmed, it would be by far the deadliest Israeli airstrike in the five wars between Israel and Hamas since 2008.
In the photos published on social networks, you can see a huge fire in the rooms of al-Ahli Hospital, broken windows, and pieces of people’s bodies in the area.
The ministry said at least 500 people were killed.
Many hospitals in Gaza City have turned into refugee camps for hundreds of people who hope that Israel will spare them from the bombing, after ordering all residents of the city and surrounding areas to leave for the southern part of Gaza.
