CEO Alexey Miller said that “significant additional volumes are reaching the Hungarian market,” in addition to the 1.3 billion cubic meters that have already been delivered on top of existing contracts this year.
The move will secure Hungary’s energy supply for winter.
Budapest’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade declined to comment – because the country’s officials are enjoying a long weekend off to mark Republic Day. /TelegraphNews
