Saale, Oct 24 (Telegraph News) – A shocking discovery on the Halle: A passer-by discovered a lifeless body floating in the water in the evening. He immediately alerted the police!
The emergency call was received by the police around 6:45 p.m. Shortly before, a passer-by had discovered a body at the lock on Mansfelder Strasse. He described to the officers that a person was floating motionless in the Halle.
Numerous emergency services came to the river bank and searched the area. “Initially no person could be found on-site in the area described, so the search area was expanded,” explains a police spokesman. /Bild
