Violent protests continue, causing turmoil around France

Such sights of towns shrouded in smoke are common in combat zones such as Syria, but this time they come from Paris, France.

They are the result of increasingly fierce and widespread protests, primarily from immigrant neighborhoods, in response to the police shooting of a teenager of North African ancestry for the third night in a row.

This clip is really alarming, showing several young individuals who, according to social media comments, come from immigrant families shooting Kalashnikovs in the air from a car in the town of Ojonaks, not far from the Swiss border.

The chaos has spread throughout France.

Luxury boutiques were assaulted and plundered in the heart of Paris.

Even the police officer who shot the 17-year-old’s appeal for forgiveness did not halt the flames and police attacks that have become the norm of these rallies.

667 protestors were detained on the third night alone.

Despite the pledge of 40,000 more police personnel, the violence continued.

According to the media, the French government may declare a “state siege” and the army may seize charge of public order.
