President Maduro arrived at King Abdulaziz International Airport, situated in the nation’s second largest city, escorted by the first combatant, Cilia Flores.
Regarding his visit to Saudi Arabia, President Nicolás Maduro reaffirmed that Venezuela continues to improve bilateral relations with other countries.
The Head of State reminded the public via his official Twitter account that he is completing an important work agenda.
“We are in Saudi Arabia to continue with our productive International Work Agenda, which advances in the strengthening of bilateral relations, brotherhood, and respect between Venezuela and the rest of the world,” he said on Twitter.
The Venezuelan president landed in the Saudi city of Jeddah on an official visit on Sunday to attend a series of work sessions to strengthen political, diplomatic, and energy cooperation between the two countries.

He was honored by prominent officials in Saudi Arabia, where it is expected that they would enhance exchanges in several fields, including energy.
This is President Maduro’s third visit to Venezuela, following trips in 2015 and 2016.
The primary point of cooperation between Venezuela and Saudi Arabia is their membership in the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), to which they have joined since 1960.
The Venezuelan president attended the inauguration ceremonies of Turkey’s president, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who was recently validated in office in general elections.
