Former President Trump discusses his prosecution under the Espionage Act for handling confidential information, as well as a series of previous investigations.

Trump raged against Democrats at the North Carolina Republican Convention on Saturday, but claimed the long list of legal challenges and impeachments helps his polling and fundraising.

Trump addressed the freshly released federal indictment accusing him of mishandling secret materials, as well as the other investigations that have been launched against him since his election as president in 2016.

“They launched witch hunt after witch hunt, and they’re just trying to stop our movement,” Trump remarked.

“They are willing to go to any length to undermine the will of the American people.”

Trump, who declared he had “5,000 prosecutors” following him, was accused Friday on 37 federal charges, including deliberate retention of national security information, conspiracy to obstruct justice, and making false statements.
