October 22, 2024 – Qualcomm and Alphabet’s Google have announced a strategic collaboration to develop next-generation artificial intelligence (AI) systems for the automotive industry. The partnership aims to enhance in-car experiences with advanced AI-powered features, such as voice assistants, driver-assistance technologies, and smart infotainment systems.
Qualcomm, a leader in mobile and automotive semiconductors, will integrate Google’s AI tools into its Snapdragon Digital Chassis platform. This platform powers a variety of in-vehicle technologies, from connectivity and autonomous driving systems to telematics.
