Franklin, TN – Former NFL quarterback Jay Cutler was arrested Thursday evening on charges of driving under the influence (DUI) and unlawful possession of firearms in Franklin, Tennessee.
According to police reports, the 41-year-old was involved in a minor car crash before officers discovered two firearms in his vehicle, including a loaded pistol.
Cutler, known for his time with the Chicago Bears, was taken into custody at the Williamson County Jail. The charges also include failure to comply with the implied consent law, indicating that Cutler refused to submit to breathalyzer or blood testing.
