Orban: NATO membership for Ukraine would have ignited World War III

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban warned again on Friday that Ukraine’s NATO membership would have triggered a new world war

“If Ukraine had joined NATO, it would have meant an immediate world war,” Orban stated.

He went on to say that Ukraine’s intention to join the military alliance had to be stopped and “blocked” at the NATO conference.

And, according to Orban, the West wants the Russian-Ukrainian conflict to extend as long as possible.

“As a result, the Hungarian government must prepare for the fact that the war and sanctions are not going away anytime soon,” he added.

Orban also slammed Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky for his “unusual” communication style.

“If you have problems and ask for help, behave properly,” Orban advised.

He went on to say that British Defence Secretary Ben Wallace chastised Ukrainian President Zelensky for his “lack of gratitude” following the NATO summit.

“Ukrainians are aggressive, they are demanding,” said Orban.
