During an Israeli army counter-terror operation in Jenin, at least 8 Palestinian extremists were killed and 50 others were injured.
This action led to nocturnal protests and riots in the northern Palestinian city of the West Bank.
When the Israeli intelligence agencies learned that a gang of terrorists was organising strikes on Israeli land, they alerted the Israeli army’s special forces, who intervened in the Jenin refugee camp.

The squad made comprised of fighters from both Islamic Jihad and Hamas, the Jenin Brigades, was the target of the Israeli strikes.
Due to the militants’ increased terrorist activity, Israel’s authorities have recently paid more attention to Jenin and the West Bank militants.
However, unlike in prior weeks, this operation will not go outside the city, according to the Israeli foreign minister.
